Reyes Brunell: You will be paying for parking. (but staying at a disney resort you may not) Then walking or taking a tram to the park gates. Parking lots are big, it could be a long walk.Be aware that WDW is huge. It is miles from one park to another park. You are going to need a GPS or a good map to get you around the 4 parks, 2 water parks and Downtown Disney. Traffic can be busy.
Raymundo Kyser: yes you can
Jodie Capella: of course you can drive your car to the parks. and since you are a disney resort guest you will not have to pay for parking in each park (which is $12 per day for non disney resort guests). but the buses are much more convenient. the parking lots will be a nightmare and you will have to walk a long ways to the entrance of the park. in fact in magic kingdom you park in the parking lot and then usually need to take a tram to the ticket and transportation center and then have to take a ferry boat or the monorail to the entrance of magic king! dom. but if you take the disney bus you will be dropped off right infront of the magic kingdom entrance. plus the bus system is much easier. you just hop on and relax. where as driving in your car you have to know which way to turn and what lane to be in which can get quite stressful. i highly suggest taking the bus and leaving your car at the hotel....Show more
Sammy Tabatt: why would you take your car? That makes no sense at all. If you take the bus...it drops you off right near the front gate for each park..good luck walking half mile each way with three kids....you wont be able to do it. and will end up taking the bus....Show more
Wilmer Skidmore: Yes you can drive around wdw I go to disney every year and never had parking problems.
Alvaro Oare: I was just down there for the moth of June and I spent a lot of time on property. driving is a breeze and I never hit traffic. Signs are well listed but a GPS could be helpful. As for peoples comments about ! long walks I disagree. All parks have tram cars. They pick y! ou up at the top of your parking row and then drop you off by the entrance of the parks. The tram car stop is actually closer then the bus stops but it is really splitting hairs b/c it is not that much difference. I have also stayed on property and the negative about the bus is the over crowding. Sometimes there is not enough room at all and then you have to wait for another bus to come. Also, I am a safety freak. The buses go on the roadway and travel and normal driving speeds. I was uncomfortable with my daughter not being in a car seat and sometimes even having to stand. Just an FYI....Show more
Verdie Wollen: Yes you can. And it is actually way better once you know your way around. Make sure you display the car permit and you are good to go. Since you are staying at a Disney resort it is free. Parking is not really a nightmare just park and take the tram, that will be less time than waiting on the bus etc etc Plus you have the freedom of driving your ca! r and leave the park at any time and don't need to be surrounded by a lot of sweaty, smelly people.I am going early September too and I will take my car also. That is the way to go. It is really easy to drive around. Just make sure to write down or remember where you parked, specially at the ticket center to go to Magic Kingdom, the parking lot is like a HUGE OCEAN of cars!Have fun!!!!!!!!!!...Show more
Giovanni Malool: parking at any theme park is crowded.. however if you get up and get out early enough (by 930 ish) it wont be too bad. disney also offers tram services from the parking lots to the park gates. also what my family did is that we started at animal kingdom. we parked there and then took the FREE disney buses and monorail from park to park. animal kingdom is the first to close (8pm) and magic kingdom is the last i believe (11pm). the buses run 90 minutes past the LAST park closing time. each individual parking lot tram runs 60 mins past that particu! lar parks closing time. hope this helps. enjoy your trip!...Show more! p>
Elden Dedon: As others have already answered ~ yes, you can drive your car throughout the WDW Complex. I have done both and think it is faster than riding the bus. Sometimes the busses can be packed with people. Don't get me wrong ~ the bus is simple and easy to ride ~ try it and see if it works for your family. I have an Annual pass and stay offsite sometimes, with an AP the parking is free. I have never had a problem driving my own car. Direction Signage will easily guide you to your Theme Park or Water Park. Get a Map from the Concierge at All Star Music too.Early in the morning when arriving you will be directed to a parking section by Cast Members and the Tram is right there to pick you up. I have nerver had to wait for a Tram no matter what time I park. Staying offsite I usually arrive early and leave for "home" in early afternoon. Perfect for lunch, nap/swim in the pool. Something you will probably do with small ones that need a break. Returning! in late afternoon, I again have had no problems. Realize that in BUSY season traffic can be backed up trying to enter Theme Parks. This is usually over Spring Break or the Major U.S. Holidays. Here are maps of WDW Complex: http://www.wdwinfo.com/maps/index.htm How to use WDW Transportation:http://www.mouseplanet.com/dtp/wdwguide/5_Primer/w...http://www.wdwinfo.com/transportation/bus_schedule...More info:http://www.wdwmagic.com/ http://allears.net/index.html...Show more
Elsie Resner: You can, but I wouldn't recommend it. We tried driving a couple of time during our fist trip just because we thought we could get from point A to point B quicker. Boy were we wrong. 2nd trip we didn't go near the van until time to go home.
Claude Gloden: Yes, you can drive your own vehicle. You should get a parking pass at the hotel and you will be able to park for free at the parks. Parking shouldn't be too much of an issue. The one perk I can think of if you drive your own ! car is that you can leave your stroller (I assume you're bringing one) ! in the car instead of lugging it on and off of the WDW buses.
Clifford Riggleman: yes you can drive you owen car around WDW. make sure you display your vehicle pass.
Jodie Capella: properly, the identifying to purchase public will decide on: merely regarded on the data & figures - looks ok, particularly, yet for the automobile identifying to purchase public, there are numerous problems; a million. that's a concept - the automobile on Aptera's internet site is obviously a ridicule up - the dashboard shows an open street together as parked in front of a development, the switchgear & trim looks very plastic, and so on., there's no technical spec, no pictures of engine, batteries, and so on they have basically built one working type - as in keeping with the 'interactive media' portion of the positioning 2. It has 2 seats - very few human beings purchase 2 seaters 3. that's totally low - protection could be a controversy, i could no longer see it passing ecu NCAP cer! tification - in the U. S., it is not a difficulty, that's classed as a motorcycle. 4. It has 3 wheels - the automobile identifying to purchase public could war to return to words with this - remember the gas saving 3 wheelers of the 60's? 5. as that's been more desirable in the U. S., they have elected to apply petrol / electric powered somewhat than diesel / electric powered as they don't have the sparkling diesel engines that we use right here - by way of their very own admission halving the financial equipment together as engaged on engine skill - See powertrain section on the positioning 6. financial equipment: Hmm, the vaguest pile of waffle i've got seen - they supply the effect of being to turn far off from giving precise figures for city, consistent speed, or blended motoring - in all probability because of the fact they don't have a type it is done adequate miles to income wisely - they don't have a street registered, homologated device yet. they say it could go 40! -60 miles on electric powered skill on my own, however the positioning ! additionally says that for the duration of this mileage, the petrol engine would 'cycle' on & off for some 'seconds or minutes' - properly, it is not electric powered basically then, and one is 60 situations greater advantageous than the different! i think of the assumption's good, yet i could would desire to be responsive to greater....Show more
