Imogene Neiswander: 250 degrees is too low, it will take all day... I would set the temp at at least 375, not sure per pound how many hours though, you may want to look that up online.. google it. make sure you season the whole turkey with salt and pepper and rub it with softened butters.. separatethe skin from the breast and rub the butter in there as well..
