Marita Stadick: Kevin is correct about getting a butterfly bush. Butterflies also love lantana.
Azalee Ahrendes: Sorry don't know the name.....but on your MUST HAVE list is Buddlea (not sure I've spelt it right but is pronounced as it reads) and is more commonly known as the butterfly plant as it attracts so many, I believe comes in white and the colour in your photo.

Ellis Cellar: It's good what you are doing to feed adult butterflies, but it is only a small and final stage of the cycle.You are putting out food for the adults but there is nowhere for them to lay eggs and to act as the caterpillars nursery if you like. Find the food source of your favourite butterflies and plant that in a secluded area, that is a butterfly garden and the tidiness of most gardens is the reason that butterflies are scarcer. The Adults and caterpillars don't often feed on the same plants.In! the U.K. one of the best food plants are nettles and not too many people want them in their garden. In Florida Citrus in tubs attracts many Swallowtails for a start, you get bare citrus after a good crop though....Show more
