Maritza Ebanks: It's not really possible. Even if you go used, such as getting stuff off of Craigslist, you are not likely to get a HDMI capable receiver for $100, and then a decent set of 5.1 speakers for the other $100. But, try it, and see what you can find. A year ago, I scored a nice pair of Infinity RS2 speakers for $42. Oh, there's a decent package at Amaz*n.com, the Onkyo HT-S3400 5.1-Channel Home Theater System, for $250. That's about as good as you're going to get at that price point....Show more
Von Houskeeper: You can't get a best home theater for under $200 You might be able to get some peace of crap for that much but not anything good.
Toby Women: The best I could suggest is watch for a decent 2 channel receiver and two used speakers I bought a ugly but functional set of Klipsch fortes for $200 and a sherwood two channel for $50 less than that and you will be pissing away money.
