Bettye Arre: Most DVRs have copy protection on them that prevent you from recording a high quality version, however, as you have said you want to record it on to your VCR, you would not be taking advantage of the high quality version anyway.You need to connect your VCR to the outputs of the DVR using Composite video cables (the cables with the Red, white and yellow connectors (http://www.monoprice.com/products/product.asp?c_id... or http://www.radioshack.com/product/index.jsp?produc... )Connect one end to the output on the DVR and the other end to the input on the VCR. Select the "Video In" on the VCR as your input source Press record on the VCR, and then Play on the DVR. The movie will record in real time (a 2 hour movie will take 2 hours).
